2fort5
The first map played was 2fort5, 8 v 8, using QW2.3 and TF2.9 on a New Zealand server with teamkills on. Playing for Loki were Victim, Proto, Astro-Boy, Grimm, Hetzer, Mil, mic and Goo.
For this game, we used a new and untested attacking combination, but it did the job for us. At the start, there was a fair bit of confusion as the attackers tried to organise themselves, but they did manage to get the NZ flag up to their top room. Unfortuntately, our attackers were not able to capitalise on their efforts and the flag returned before they could get to it again. Well done to some good defence by NZ here.
NZ used some heavy defence, making it very tough for our attackers. Late in the game, though, we were able to finally break through and bring the flag home. Congratulations to Goo for such a rare capture. :)
As NZ tended to defend heavily, their attack suffered as a result. We were able to keep them well away from our flag for most of the game, except for one occasion when it was taken, but it never left the flag room. Well done to our defenders for a strong effort.
Map score: Loki 10, FmNZ 0.

At times, the ploss was very bad for everyone The following shot is a good example of this. I don't know how NZ TFers can play under these conditions all the time.
