The second map played was well6, 8 v 8, using QW2.3 and TF2.9 on the Zip clan server. Playing for Loki were Victim, Astro Boy, Mil, Grimm, Fenrir, Mirage, Zel and Goo. Proto and Hetzer spectated the game, although Proto spent most of the time playing for ICQ.

We started off this map very badly. Tetsuo went engineer, which turned out to be a major mistake. Tetsuo's current PC has this habit of resetting at regular periods, and sure enough, just as the game started, Tetsuo dropped out. In the ensuing confusion, we ended up without an engineer and only a few people on defence. This was particularly disastrous as ICQ attacked very strongly.

We started off trading caps, until we slowly got ourselves organised. The ICQ defence was a little frail, although [Loki] Proto was doing a good job for them. :) Proto dropped out late in the game when ICQ got enough players to make a full team. At times, there were more Loki players in the ICQ flag area than there were ICQ players, particularly towards the end the game. Had our attack been a little better co-ordinated, we could have come home with quite a few more caps.

The ICQ attack continued to do some great work, keeping our defenders very busy, but we were able to keep our cap total ahead of theirs, giving us a fairly narrow win.
