We'd seen the SD players on TIG a few times and a bit of inter-clan rivalry had developed, so we agreed to have a match to sort things out. :-) After a bit of confusion as to which server we would play on, we settled on Zip's clan server.
The game was finalised at fairly short notice to clan members, so some never even knew about it until after it was over. Sorry about that guys, but we didn't want to miss the chance to play them. :-) The first map was 2fort5, 8 v 8, even though we started with 7 and they finished with 9, but generally the teams were even. Playing for Loki were Victim, Z, Fenrir, Grimm, Shilka, Mirage, rj, with Tetsuo joining in 10 minutes into the game. Welcome to Mirage who played with us for the first time.
We concentrated mainly on attack, generally leaving only Fenrir, Victim and Z on defence (though Z decided not always to stay in position!) . This helped to overwhelm SD's defence, giving us our highest ever score in a map. Here is the list of our captures:

SD did manage to get our flag a few times, particularly near the end of the game when they got it to the top of our fort a few times. They almost took off with it once but Vic was able to stop the SD attacker just before he jumped down through the grate, and we successfully defended the flag from there. We're going to miss you when you're in England, Vic. :-)
We had planned to play well6 after 2fort5, but a few of the SD players didn't have it (they use wellgl), and didn't realise they could just rename wellgl1 to well6. After a bit of a muckaround game, it was decided not to play anymore as not enough SD players were around.
Considering that this was SD's first clan match, and that they had not taken on players outside of TIG before, this really wasn't a bad effort, and they were quite gracious in defeat. After a bit more match experience, SD will definitely be a lot tougher. Next time, we hope to be able to play well6 as well, so SD guys please get this map! :-)
