The second game of the Sydney Gamers League (SGL) LAN competition at Sylvania was well6, 6 v 6, on QW 2.3 and TF2.9 against "Arse Bandits". Playing for Loki were Victim, rj, Darkmane, Grimm, Shilka and Fenrir. Astro Boy and Zel spectated. AB was a team that consisted mainly of players from BL and PnP.

They had just played and beaten XF, so we knew we were not going to have an easy game of it. This certainly turned out to be the case. They defended very strongly, making it hard to even get close to their flag. About half way through the game, though, we were able to get their flag down and into the water tunnel. We thought we were going to be able to get it home from there, but AB defended it too well and it returned to their base.

With only a couple of minutes to go, the game remained locked at 0-0. At this point, however, we managed to get the AB flag down again, and this time got it to their main door before getting killed. From here, AB were not able to keep us away from it and we took it home for a good capture. The resulting cheers from the Loki camp echoed throughout the hall...

This was our most intense match of the day, and one thorougly enjoyed by everyone in the game. Great game, AB!
