The third game of the Sydney Gamers League (SGL) LAN competition at Sylvania was well6, 6 v 6, on QW 2.3 and TF2.9 against XF. Playing for Loki were Astro Boy, rj, Darkmane, Zel, Shilka and Fenrir. Mr ABC actually spent the day playing for XF, as they were one player short.

We rotated off our usual defence for this game, to make sure everyone got a fair number of games. We started off the match very badly, with XF's initial scout run hitting us very quickly and getting in an early cap to take them to a 10-0 lead in the opening minute. Our defence re-grouped after letting in this initial cap, and did a solid job for the rest of the game. XF did manage to cap one more time, but it was not enough for them.

They were using a very strong forward defensive pattern, with both a solider and demoman out the front of their base, which was making life a little difficult for our attackers. However, we were soon able to find chinks in their defence, and levelled the score at 10-10. Our spies had some pretty good success in the game, and helped us to a good win.
