The first map played was bam4, 8 v 8. Playing for Loki were Vic, Proto, Grimm, Strafe, Goo, Zel, Shilka and Mirage. Fenrir, Hetzer, rj, Mil and Mic spectated. The game was scheduled to start at 9pm, but most of the XF guys didn't turn up till about 9:30pm. We then promptly got underway, after a couple of failed attempts to get the prematch happening. Hint: if you use "pm 0" to turn off prematch, using "prematch 5" won't then work - you need to use "pm 5". I found this out the hard way. :-)

Both flags were taken very early in the game. Unfortunately, XF took ours all the way back to their base, while we couldn't get theirs out of their basement. It moved slowly towards the spiral for a while, but the XF defence thwarted our attempts to get it, and eventually it returned. Defence then on both sides dominated, but with some persistent attack, our flag moved out of the flag room and into the basement, then further out of the basement, then to the spiral base, then out. This left us 20-0 down and desperate for a cap of our own, but the XF defence was too solid and, whilst we got to the flag a number of times, we could never get away with it.
